I'm Domenic Sawatzki, a data analytics engineer based in the Berlin area. I work with data: analysing it, automating it, building small tools on top of it, and currently learning my way deeper into AI.
My path into data wasn't a straight line. I started out in supply chain & process optimization, have been managing projects since 2016, and later worked as a consultant, until I found the thing that really clicked: working with data, and especially preparing it well.
I have a genuine soft spot for high-quality data: clean, well-prepared, trustworthy. What I enjoy most is following the whole process end to end: from raw data, through cleaning and modeling, to the presentation decisions are built on.
Based in the Berlin area, working in German and English. Quietly building and learning, currently going deeper into AI.
Lot Internet is a web-crawling & data analytics company. Every day we crawl hundreds of online marketplaces across Europe: tens of millions of listings daily, and the scale of data I get to work with.
The data I work with powers analytics for some of Europe's best-known online marketplaces and automotive brands, and I'm often in direct contact with them, acting as their account manager as much as their analyst. What I'm known for is a real eye for detail and high standards: I care about getting the data right, not just done.
Several years of consulting and project work across SCM, production and process optimization, including roles at Philip Morris International and Schüco International KG.
An interactive analysis of all 1.75 million police-recorded road accidents in Germany (2018-2024), built from the official Unfallatlas. A district-level choropleth with filters for year, mode and severity, trend charts and a bilingual EN/DE interface, an AI-built remake of my earlier data-analytics project, with a natural-language data query coming next.
